Our driver will pick you up from the airport or hotel in Nairobi in the morning at around 7:00 a.m. After briefing you about your safari, you will depart Nairobi for Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Upon arrival, you will check in at your camp and have lunch. After a short rest, you will proceed for a late afternoon game drive. Serena Sweetwaters tented camp is located in a prime location in Ol Pejeta Conservancy. The conservancy is one of the few places where you can have night game drives at an extra cost. Other optional activities include lion tracking, camel ride, bush lunch/dinner, etc. Viewing of the world’s remaining northern white rhino needs to be arranged in advance.
You will depart Ol Pejeta in the morning after breakfast for a drive to Lake Nakuru. There will be a brief stopover at the equator viewpoint and also visit Thompson Falls along the way. On arrival, you will enter the park and have an en-route game drive as you head to your lodge located inside the park. You will check in at the lodge around lunchtime. After a short rest, you will venture out for an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru National Park is famous for the colonies of flamingos that live on the shores of the Lake. Many bird species call it home and it also has numerous animal species including rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, and lions among many others. You will go back to the lodge in the evening.
You will leave Lake Nakuru in the morning after an early breakfast for a drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. You will arrive in time for lunch. After lunch and a brief rest, you will embark on an afternoon game drive feasting your eyes on the marvels that Masai Mara has to offer. All members of the Big Five are prevalent, among many other flora and fauna that adorn this unique park. In the evening, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will spend the whole day in the reserve having game drives. A balloon safari can be organized for this day. You will enjoy this day inside the park viewing the tremendous attractions prevalent (make certain you have with you a good DSLR camera to capture the best moments). Lunch will be taken at a vantage picnic site. After lunch, you will proceed with the game drive until late afternoon. There is an option of a Masai village visit which can be organized by the driver at a minimal cost. You will go back to the hotel in the evening for dinner. The rest of the day can be spent around a bonfire regaling in Masai tales and entertainment.
In the morning after waking up, you will indulge in a scrumptious breakfast at the lodge. You will pack all your luggage and embark on a drive back to Nairobi having savored the best safari memories to share back home with your friends and family. On arrival, you will have lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant before heading to your hotel or the airport.
