After an early breakfast leave Nairobi for Samburu national reserve. Driving with few breaks you will arrive in time for a lunch. After lunch and short rest proceed for a late afternoon game drive.
On this days you will have full day game drives in this wild and rugged piece of heaven. Samburu is fiercely beautiful with its arid savannahs watered by the lovely Ewaso Nyiro River. It is also one of Kenya’s most protected parks and is home to species only native to the north of the equator. They are the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, beisa oryx, gerenuk gazelle to the greater and lesser kudu.
Depart from Samburu in the morning and drive to Ol pejeta. Check in at the hotel and have lunch. After lunch have game drives drives in Ol pejeta. Ol pejeta is one of the prime sanctuaries in Laikipia platue. It has Southern white Rhino and also a refuge of the last 2 nothern white rhino left in the world.(To view the Nothern white Rhino needs to be booked in advance at extra cost) The Jane Goodall Institute also operates a remarkable Chimpanzee Sanctuary where you can see the primates.
After breakfast drive to Lake Nakuru national park. On the way you will have a brief stop at the equator view point. Arrive in the park and drive to your hotel located inside. After lunch and short rest you will have game drives in the park returning to your lodge in the evening.
Depart Lake Nakuru in the morning and drive to Masai Mara. You will arrive in time for lunch. After a short rest you will take your first thrilling evening game drive in the Masai Mara game reserve, one of Africa’s top safari destinations.
Have breakfast and then proceed for a full day tour, game viewing in Kenya’s finest wildlife park, the Masai Mara National Reserve. The game drives take you in search of Africa’s Big Five and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. You will also have an option of visiting a Masai village at an extra cost. A balloon safari is also another option on this day at extra cost.
After breakfast check out and drive back to Nairobi. The 7 days samburu ol pejeta Nakuru Mara adventure ends when you return to the bustling Nairobi. You will be dropped at the city hotel or the airport.

SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE
The reserve is a beautiful expanse comprising of semi arid land that made of grasslands, thorn trees, acacia and riverine forest vegetation. It has its own special big five animals. They include the Grevy Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk and the Beisa Oryx. Are also referred as Samburu Special.
OLPEJETA CONSERVANCY
Ol Pejeta conservancy is the largest black rhino sanctuary in east Africa. Ol pejeta is also home to two of the world’s last remaining northern white rhino. It’s the only place in Kenya to see chimpanzees, in a Sanctuary established to rehabilitate animals rescued from black market.
LAKE NAKURU
Lake Nakuru national park is one of the popular and a premier park in Kenya. It has over 400 bird species making it a bird watchers paradise. In addition it is home to over 50 mammal species. When it comes to plant species, it has over 500. The park is famous for the flocks of the greater and lesser Flamingo.
MASAI MARA
Masai mara is one of the best wildlife viewing destination in the world. There are over 95 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and more than 400 birds species recorded in the reserve. The reserve is famous for the annual wildebeest migration.
